Hendrik is CEO and Co-Founder of Vwala.
Based in Ronse, where he’s a married father of two princesses and their dog, Baco. With 15 years across agencies and startups, Hendrik’s career has been defined by a drive for genuine impact, solving real problems that people actually feel. Vwala grew out of a personal frustration with his own financial blind spots. Like many, Hendrik realized he was stuck with "zombie" subscriptions and contracts he’d never bothered to reconsider, simply out of inertia.
An eternal optimist and a fanatic of both cycling and football, Hendrik provides the vision and sets the direction. He won't let go until Vwala reaches its goal: giving everyone total grip on their financial health.

Nick is CTO and Co-Founder of Vwala.
Based in Antwerp, where he lives with his partner and soon a little one on the way (May 2026). Nick is a product developer and builder at heart. With a background in both software engineering and physiotherapy, he landed his first role in HealthTech at Awell, where he spent close to eight years.
He's a jack of all trades who excels in execution. Someone who simply gets stuff done and is meticulous in his craft. Occasionally, he writes about building Vwala on https://nckhell.substack.com/.

Jaime is COO and Co-Founder of Vwala.
A father of two boys, married and based in Antwerp. Before Vwala, Jaime spent over five years in retail banking at Argenta, working directly with everyday consumers. He later joined Bizzcontrol, an advisory platform for the accountancy sector, where he saw the same issues from the side of professionals as with the everyday consumers at Argenta. No real overview of their finances and a general lack of financial literacy. That frustration turned into a mission, and eventually into Vwala.

Stefan is a Founding Engineer at Vwala.
Over the past decade, he has worked across a wide range of frontend and backend systems, with a strong focus on maintainability, software architecture and long-term product quality. He enjoys helping teams grow alongside the systems they build.
Professionally, he remains mildly suspicious of the word “pragmatism”.
